#1 UNDER EXHIBITORS FEES AND RULES
Rockton Agricultural Society will do its utmost to see that all safety
precautions are met to protect the public and to safeguard the exhibits but it
is up to the exhibitor to see that all animals are well trained, under full
control and equipment is in a safe condition. Exhibitors of horses
(4H exhibitors exempt) must submit some form of written proof, from your
insurance company showing policy number and an expiry date after Thanksgiving
Day and that you carry liability
insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000.00 and that you are covered for
showing your animals at fairs or exhibitions. This proof must be
provided at the time of making your entries. 4-H
exhibitors are covered already by their 4-H Association. Note Rules 6 & 7
under "Powers of Society".
For Rules of Conduct, please refer to Rule #5,under "Powers
of Society".
Vehicles transporting animals are to ENTER & EXIT through the 5th Conc.

Signage will be posted for this entrance, please refer to the map on the back
of the prize book. EXHIBITORS OF LIVESTOCK (CATTLE, HORSES, SHEEP & GOATS)
WILL RECEIVE 1 PASS FOR EXHIBITORS OF 1 ANIMAL, 2 PASSES FOR EXHIBITORS OF 2 TO 4 ANIMALS AND 3 PASSES FOR 5 OR
MORE ANIMALS, IF PRE-REGISTERED ON TIME, IN ADDITION TO THE VEHICLE AND DRIVER
BEING ALLOWED IN FREE. All others must have a current pass or ribbon or
pay at the gate. (Preschoolers are the ONLY exception)
A breeding unit may show two animals in any Class. All animals must be owned
by and registered in the name of the exhibitor. Registration Papers or
photostatic copies MUST be available day of show.
Entries must be in the hands of the General Manager on or before Sept 30th,
2008.

There will be a deduction of 15% in lieu of an entry fee when entries are in
the hands of the General Manager 7 days prior to Fair date.
All horses being exhibited at the Fair are to be negative to an
immunodiffusion test (coggins test) for Equine Infectious Anemia tested within
one year of the date of the Fair. A certificate is to be made available to the
Fair Board Officials, if requested.
NO entries will be allowed in ring after the fourth horse has been judged.

BELGIAN
Rockton Fair is host to the Ontario Belgian Horse
Association Stallion Point Program to be held for Stud Foals and Yearling
Stallions. Each colt enrolled in the program must be from a mare owned here in
Ontario at time of foaling and registered with the OBHA. The owner and
exhibitor must be an Ontario resident and member of the OBHA at time of
exhibiting. Points will be awarded by placing of the number of enrolled and
eligible colts in the class.
