Rules: BEGINNER SPINNER OR WEAVER - 2 years or less experience
ADVANCED SPINNER OR WEAVER – more than 2 years experience
Supply a card for each item with necessary information.
50. Beginner Spinner – using a fibre of your choice and 2 colours, spin a 5 yard skein of singles and a 25 yard skein of 2 ply yarn suitable for mitts or slippers, together with a 6”x6” knitted sample or a knitted article in progress (article need not be finished). Name the fibre.
51. Advanced Spinner – using a fibre of your choice, spin a 5 yard skein of singles and a 25 yard skein of 2 ply yarn suitable for a scarf or stole, together with a 6”x6” knitted sample or an article in progress (article need not be finished). Name the fibre.
52. Beginner Weaver – using a natural fibre yarn of your choice and colour, weave a scarf 6”x40” using plain or twill pattern. Name the fibre.
53. Advanced Weaver – using your choice of fibre, colour and pattern, weave 2 placemats.
