Section 10- JUNIOR GYMKHANA DIVISION

Children's Pony & Hunter Show

   All exhibitors must pay an exhibitor/admission fee to the Rockton Agricultural Society at the gate, for which a token will be issued as proof, or at the Show Ring if no proof, at the time of registration.
  Faxed or mailed entries received before Oct. 6: entry fee $5.00 per class or $20.00 for entire Division. Entries received after Oct. 6: entry fee $6.00 per class or $25.00 for entire Division.

  Rockton Agricultural Society will do its utmost to see that all safety precautions are met to protect the public and to safeguard the exhibits but it is up to the exhibitor to see that all animals are well trained, under full control and equipment is in a safe condition.

Exhibitors of horses (4H exhibitors exempt) must submit some form of written proof, from your insurance company showing policy number and an expiry date after Thanksgiving Day and that you carry liability insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000.00 and that you are covered for showing your animals at fairs or exhibitions. This proof must be provided at the time of making your entries.  4-H exhibitors are covered already by their 4-H Association. Note Rules 6 & 7 under "Powers of Society".

Vehicles transporting animals are to ENTER & EXIT through the 5th Conc. Gate ONLY. Signage will be posted for this entrance, please refer to the map on the back of the Prize Book. Vehicles transporting animals and driver ONLY will be admitted free. All others must have a current pass or ribbon or pay at the gate. (Preschoolers are the ONLY exception)

JUNIOR DIVISION
(Note - for competitors 12 yrs & younger as of Jan. 1st. Competitors in this division may not enter Section 9)

Class
1. Turnout - (Ribbons to all)
2. Walk, Trot - Lead Line Optional - (Ribbons to all)
3. Walk, Trot, Canter (Ribbons to all).
4. Cavaletti Course, (Lead Line Optional) - ( at the trot)
5. Cavaletti Course. (at the canter)
     Please Note: Competitors in Classes 2 and 4may not enter in Classes 3 and 5.
6. Open Potato Sack Relay Race (helper required).
7. Costume Class (note* this class open to any Division or section and may be 18 yrs. or under)

Rule Changes
No cross entries. May only show in Section 10, cannot show in Section 11.
60 second time limit to get into ring when number is called.
Only 2 riders per animal.
Horses & Ponies must be manageable by rider, except for Lead Line.
HELMETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL T1MES, EVEN IN COSTUME CLASS RIDE.


Section 11- CHILDREN'S PONY & HUNTER SHOW
Saturday  12:00 noon - To follow Jr. Gymkhana Show

PLEASE NOTE: ENTRIES ARE RESTRICTED TO EITHER SECTION 9, 10 OR 11, CANNOT CROSS ENTER.

  All exhibitors must pay an exhibitor/admission fee to the Rockton Agricultural Society at the gate, for which a token will be issued as proof, or at the Show Ring if no proof, at the time of registration.
   Faxed or mailed entries received before Oct. 2: entry fee $8.00 per class. Entries received after Oct. 2: entry fee $10.00 per class.
   Paid warm-ups prior to start of Pony Division and Horse Division $2.00. Not to be judged.
