1. $50.00 Canadian Hackney Society Junior Exhibitor Competition Single Hackney horse or pony driven by a Junior Exhibitor. Open to all registered Hackneys, (Mares or Geldings), suitable to be driven by a Junior. To be shown to a suitable four-wheeled vehicle. To be shown by a boy or girl who has reached their 8th year and are under 18 years of age as of January 1st. of current year. Exhibitor or a member of his immediate family must be a member of the Canadian Hackney Society. To be judged on manners, quality and performance of the animal and the driver’s ability; 50% for the driver’s ability, and 50% for the suitability of animal.

2. Canadian Hackney Society Junior Showmanship: Showmanship competition open to Junior exhibitors who have reached their 8th year, and have not reached their 18th birthday as of January 1st. of the current year. Exhibitor or a member of his immediate family must be a member of the Canadian Hackney Society. Hackney mares or geldings are to be used and shown in hand. ............1st; 2nd; 3rd; 4th; 5th; 6th ribbons and points only.
3. Shetland Pony Junior Exhibitor Competition. Open to Juniors age 8 to 17 inclusive.........

4. Child’s Fancy Turnout: To be driven by a boy accompanied by a girl, each under 14 years of age, at a park pace. Open to Shetland, Fine Harness and Hackney Ponies and shown to an appropriate 4-wheeled vehicle. To be judged 50% on children’s attire, 40% on conformation, manners and performance and 10% on neatness and cleanliness of harness and vehicle.
