QUILTS - AFGHANS - RUGS -WALL HANGINGS
The Grand Champion Quilt and/or Reserve Grand Champion Quilt will compete at the
District #6 level and, if a winner, goes into competition at the Ontario
Agricultural Societies Convention. This competition is sponsored
by O.A.A.S. Winner of the winning quilt at the O.A.A.S. convention will
receive $500.00 and they will be able to retain their quilt. If exhibitor
does not wish their quilt to compete, please state so on entry form. Any
item previously shown at Rockton Fair will not be accepted for judging.
*Sleeves allowed, but not required.
*Absolutely NO STRAIGHT PINS*
Hand-Quilting ONLY unless otherwise specified - must be made & quilted by
an individual
Machine-quilted quilt (also minimum 72" x 90") NOT DONE BY LONG
ARM must be machine-quilted by the exhibitor, not a professional, and must be
visible machine quilting. The winning quilt will then compete at District 6
level. Then, a special prize will be awarded and arranged by the O.A.A.S. to the winning quilt at the O.A.A.S.

$30 gift certificate from Fabricland, Brantford to the exhibitor
accumulating the most points in the entire Section 75 (classes 1-30)
$25 gift certificate from Lyn Bell Creative Sewing Studios, St. George
to the exhibitor accumulating the 2nd most points in classes 1-30
$20 gift certificate from Fabricland, Cambridge to the exhibitor
accumulating the 3rd most points in classes 1-30

Quilts in Classes 1 to 7 must be double bed size or larger, minimum size
