RULES:
. Grain display containers must be filled to be eligible.
. Sheaves to be 6 inches or more in diameter at the band. Tied with ribbon.
. All hay, grain, roots, seeds, trees and vegetables must be the property of the exhibitor, growth of the present year, and the production of the farm unless otherwise stated.
. 15% entry fee is deducted from prize money.
. All entry forms for sections 83 to 86 must be received by the Rockton Agricultural Society General Manager, by Friday, October 3rd, 2008
. Each late entry win be charged $1.00 per item.
. Only one entry per class per exhibitor.
. All exhibits will be received on Thursday, October 9th, 2008 between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the "Youth & Agriculture Centre". Exhibits must be picked up between 5.00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 13th, 2008.

21. County Ag Services Inc. Special - offers an additional prize of 5 units of Dekalb Soybean Seed to 1st place winner of Section 83 Class 7.
22. Pride Seed Special - for the heaviest bushel weight of corn in class 8 adjusted to 15.5% moisture, we offer one unit of B.T. Pride Seed Corn
Special - OSBORNE L. SAGER MEMORIAL TROPHY
(Perpetuating) - to be awarded to the Premier Exhibitor in Grain for the most points in Classes 1 - 8 inclusive.

Section 84 - HAY & SILAGE EXHIBIT
Each exhibit in Classes 1 - 7 to be a minimum of 10" to a maximum of 15" slice of a bale, properly tied, baler formed.

Prizes for Classes 43 - 46: $50; $30; $20; $15
Entries will be accepted from individuals or organizations (i.e. Boy Scouts, Women's Institutes etc.). Entry Forms must be filed with the General Manager no later than September 30th. Fruits and vegetables need not be grown by the exhibitor.

43. A COLLECTION OF GARDEN VEGETABLES
- correctly named and arranged for display using garden tools as accessories. To be arranged on a space 18" x 36".
44. COLE VEGETABLE DISPLAY - Recognizing that Ontario's principle suppliers of Cole vegetables are from Halton/Wentworth, Rockton World's Fair invites exhibitors to create educational displays to promote Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Kale and other Cole Vegetables. To be exhibited in a space 36" x 36".
45. APPLE DISPLAY - one or more varieties to be exhibited in a space 36" x 36".
46. VINE PRODUCE - to be at least 7 different species of Vine Fruits and Vegetables complimented with wicker. Table surface will be available, but exhibitor may use any style of support desired to occupy a space 3' x 3'.
47. HONEY DISPLAY - display of honey or products, minimum of 4 different items, labeled, in an area 24" x 24" . $20; $15; $10.
48. MAPLE SYRUP DISPLAY
- display of maple syrup or products, minimum of 4 different items, labelled in an area of 24" x 24"   $20; $15; $10.

Special
- The Royal Bank; Brantford Agriculture Centre, will present an award to the CHAMPION EXHIBIT in Classes 43 - 48. Previous year winner not eligible.
 

Section 86 - CHRISTMAS TREE EXHIBIT
Rules:
1. Christmas Tree grown anywhere may be entered in this competition.
2. No more than one tree per section may be exhibited by one exhibitor.
3. Trees shall not be less than 5 feet and not more than 8 feet, measured from the butt or base of the trunk to the top of the main leader or stem. Trees which are not within this height range will be disqualified in Classes 1 & 2
4. No tree may be exhibited that has been sprayed with or has artificial colour added in any manner.
5. Exhibitors to supply their own tree stands.
6. Entries must be made on entry forms and sent to the General Manager.
Prize Money for Classes 1-3: $40; $30; $20; $20

3. ANY VARIETY (TABLE TREE) May be in pot with roots attached. Not less than 3 feet high and not more than 4 feet high including the pot; decorated for Christmas.

CHAMPIONSHIP - Rosette for Champion Tree from all Classes.
